Family Paralegal Service is owned by Elaine Carlton, AZCLDP #80158. Elaine began this business in 2001, while living in the Payson, Arizona area. Three years ago she expended her service to include the Maricopa County area. Now that she offers online services documents can be prepared statewide.

Elaine has over 13 years of experience in the legal field specializing in family law and helping individuals and families with their estate documents. She can also help with guardianship of minors and adults., name changes. Elaine also has an expansive list of associates for referrals if needed.

The State Bar of Arizona created the Arizona Certified Legal Document Preparer Program in 2003. Arizona was the first state to certify legal documents preparers to prepare legal documents without the supervision of an attorney. The Arizona State Bar wanted to provide a low cost way for the public to get legal help and be protected by the State Bar at the same time. Elaine Carlton has been a Certified Legal Document Preparer since it inception in 2003.
